Dr. Mark Lentini is a dedicated, caring and experienced podiatric physician and surgeon, trained in the latest techniques and procedures in podiatry. He is committed to providing the highest level of care, in a comfortable, professional environment, conveniently located in the Capital Region of New York.

Mark Lentini, D.P.M., F.A.C.F.A.S.

Dr. Lentini is a graduate of the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and got his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta. Post-graduation he served as a Surgical Resident at New York College of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Lentini has been practicing podiatry since 1985 and is board certified as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine

Dr. Mark Lentini is a Board Certified Foot and Ankle Surgeon

The intensive process leading to certification by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS) includes four years of post-doctoral clinical experience, completion of an approved residency, a large number of surgeries representing a diverse range of foot and ankle surgical procedures, and successful completion of an extensive two-part certification process, in addition to submitting surgical case logs. ABPS is recognized by the Joint Committee on the Recognition of Specialty Boards of the Council on Podiatric Medical Education.

Foot and ankle surgeons who have achieved certification by ABPS are eligible to become Fellows of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS). This 6,000-member specialty medical society provides continuing medical education programming to its members, and serves to educate patients and consumers about foot health and the conditions that foot and ankle surgeons treat.

Dr. Lentini maintains surgical privileges at Albany Medical Center, St. Peter’s Hospital and Albany Memorial Hospital. The vast majority of procedures are often performed on an outpatient basis under sedation or local anesthesia. Minor procedures are often done in the office

Dr. Lentini is also currently head of the Podiatric Division for Albany Medical Center.
